Sponsorship Budget

Account activation and fee sponsorship consume XLM (or configured assets) from the sponsor account. It is important to set limits and monitor spend.

Per-tenant controls

• Asset allowlist: only allowed assets can be used in trustlines and sponsored payments.
• Policy limits: the Relay checks policy before preparing transactions; caps can be defined per tenant or per period.
• Analytics: the dashboard (when available) will show wallets created, activated and sponsorship cost.

Best practices

• Separate sponsor wallets by environment (testnet / mainnet).
• Review audit logs and transaction failure alerts.
• Have a sponsor key rotation plan.
